依旧是在这样春意盎然的五月，我们的翻译活动，再一次回到YouthLA的舞台。有着众多志愿者的支持，我们的好译文总不缺席。 有着曾经的努力和辛勤，志愿者们与我们正一起进步。感谢依旧，希望不变，让我们一起期待。
公布的“YouthLA翻译清单（第四轮）”如下，其中附有英文标题、摘要及原文缩略图。请活动参加者仔细阅读，根据自己兴趣择选。特别提请各位参与者注意的是：
- 基于以往活动翻译与校对工作脱节等问题，参与本次活动者，在认领一篇翻译文章的同时必须认领另一篇校对。
- 这次将采用活动申请表来收集信息；如有两个人欲申请同一文章，填写一份表单即可。
- 由于文章数量有限，文章择选重复情况极易发生，分配将以先到先得为原则。
- 希望参与活动的志愿者请填写活动申请表（见文末）并提交。通过邮箱申请视为无效申请。在文章翻译及校对过程中，志愿者通过translation@youthla.org与翻译工作组汇报进度及咨询其它相关事项。
申请及译文进行过程中，请注意：
- 为了让更多的朋友通过YouthLA认识辛勤的幕后志愿者，我们会将志愿者的名字添加到认领文章的后面。您一旦被认定为文章翻译者，我们将在三天后与您联系，并将待译文章发去。
- 请认真阅读并遵照《文章翻译要求》、《译文校对要求》。
- 为了保证效率及质量，YouthLA原则上赞成独立翻译或者不多于2人合作。并希望已经择选文章的志愿者，能在1-2个月的时间周期内完成译稿，译稿完成并通过审定合格后，将交由相应校对人进行文章校对，之后予以发表。如志愿者完成的译文，不能达到标准译文要求，则YouthLA有权退回译稿，希望重新翻译。如志愿者未能在规定时间周期内完成译稿，YouthLA将收回该文章的翻译权，重新择选志愿者继续该文的翻译工作。
备注：该轮待译的17篇文章已征得美国风景园林师协会（ASLA）期刊风景园林杂志（Landscape Architecture Magazine），TOPOS及Fabric Landscape Architecture杂志同意在Youth Landscape Architecture上发表，中文版权归YouthLA所有。

人名、地名、单位机构名，翻译时请沿用习惯性译法，并请在翻译后面用原英文补充说明。如果涉及的人物、地名或组织名称还没有一个广泛认可的中文名称对应的情况下，请仍按照英文原文撰写。主要为了防止产生歧义或者误导。
例：如关于ASLA的翻译，仍建议保留ASLA英文，不赞成使用“美国风景园林师协会”。 - 注释之必要：
因为文化及语言的差异，外文中势必有一些中国读者不熟知的相关人物、事件及背景介绍。如果信息重要，请译者必要时在文中加入注释。 - 标点符号的使用：
请规范使用标点符号。同时请区分中文状态及英文状态下所使用的不同格式的标点符号。 - 意译之可行：
个别难度较大的句子，在保证原文含义的基础上可以意译。 - 稿件提交格式：
初稿成型后，请用Word 格式存储（不接受PDF格式提交稿件），文件名为“No.xx xxxxxx” ，例：No.1 设计迪斯尼。文件内字体行距等格式不限，但请设为可编辑，可修订格式。 - 附属材料的提交：

译文校对要求
- 校对尺度的把握
外文的校对，很关键一点是要在原外文和译文之间把握好尺度，要相比于中文稿的校对困难些。请大家务必准备好原英文稿时时参照，力求尊重原稿；同时，在译文的修改过程中，请尽量保有原译者的文风。 - 重视译校双方合作
请校对者根据文稿中翻译者的邮箱信息，与翻译者保持联系。提交至YouthLA翻译工作组处的定稿必须为译校双方共同认定。 - 存储格式
校对稿成型后，请用Word 格式存储，文件名为“No.xx xxxxxx” ，例：No.1 设计迪斯尼——校对。文件内字体行距等格式不限，但请设为可编辑，可修订格式。 - 附属材料

我觉得网站更新的比较慢呀，翻译文固然好，不过国内有些设计师在个人网站上写的文章也不错呀，建议增加每月导读之类的，筛选其他网站的好文，提供原文链接和摘要即可，我们英语不强大的也可做做贡献。
