网站设立志愿者服务的初衷在于：志愿者能通过服务学习（Service Learning）来促进自身的提高。他们通过撰写文章、翻译文章、参与组织学术活动等形式的自愿服务，为YLA的相关群体提供帮助和服务；另一方面，在贡献力量的同时，志愿者能有机会推进自身能力趋善、加强社会联系，在团队合作、群体学习中共同进步。YLA志愿者的大门向大众敞开。无论您是青年设计师， 或是园林相关专业的大专院校学生，再或是热爱风景园林事业的其他专业人士，甚至只是热爱自然的普通人，都可以加入。在这里，我们一起寻找榜样、编辑文章、 翻译文章、组织活动、担任志愿者等，只要愿意贡献自己的专长，我们都欢迎加盟。YLA志愿者团队是现时工作团队的强大后备军。随着网站的发展，不断壮大的志愿者团队将作为YLA的主体而存在。与工作团队一起，分享YLA成果，担当YLA任务：
- 撰写文章。根据网站的各版块要求和分类，撰写有价值的文章，如寻找年轻榜样、采访名师名家、评价风景园林作品等。作者请将稿件投至writing@youthla.org，经编辑审核并认可后，该文章将予以刊登，同时，YLA赋予作者署名权（作者简介将一并刊出），但我们保留该文章的版权。
- 翻译文章。参与外语文章的翻译工作，为YLA翻译有价值的国外行业动态和学术成果。申请者请发信到translation@youthla.org 申请，志愿者所翻译的文章，经编辑审核并校正后，将予以刊登，同时，YLA赋予译者署名权（译者简介将一并刊出），但我们保留该文章的版权。
- 研究援助。加入YLA组织的各项研究和设计服务，如：为低收入人群设计居住环境、改善卫生条件，为大众提供可持续设计服务等。具体请留意YLA与其合作伙伴开展的各项活动。
- 公共活动。加入各类公共活动并提供各种志愿服务，如：学术论坛、设计竞赛、夏令营等。具体活动请参见“活动(Events)”板块。

With the growth of the website, volunteers are the main body of YLA. Volunteers gain what they want through Service Learning. That is to say, through writing and translating articles, participating and organizing academic activities and volunteering they improve their skills, level and knowledge. As long as you are a young designer, a landscape architecture-related student, or a specialist in other scopes, even just a person who loves nature, you can join us! Here we search for role models, do editing and translations, volunteer activities together, we welcome everyone who is willing to contribute their specialty and enthusiast.
- Writing articles. Volunteers write valuable articles for YLA, such as articles in the categories of “Role Model”, “People”, “Comment”, etc. Authors please send your articles to writing@youthla.org, after approving and selecting by editors, chosen articles will be published. The authors hold the right of authorship, while YLA holds the copyrights of the articles.
- Translating articles. Volunteers translate valuable articles related to international trends and academic achievements. Translators please send applications to translation@youthla.org, after approving and proofreading by editors, chosen translations will be published. The translators hold the right of authorship, while YLA holds the copyrights of the translation works.
- Research & outreach. Volunteers participate in research and design service that organized by YLA, such as environmental design and sanitation improvement of low-income communities, sustainable design services, etc. To find details please look into events organized by YLA.
