我们是谁？
风景园林新青年(Youth Landscape Architecture)，是一个负有使命感的非营利性网站，它致力于推动可持续设计与发展，为青年设计师和风景园林学子提供学习、交流的平台。该网站由一批具有风景园林背景的青年设计师自发创办，秉着客观公正、认真负责的态度推动该事业的前进。队伍当中有国内高校的学生，有大洋彼岸的学者，有设计部门的设计师，也有独自创业的行业先锋。我们或许各司其职，或许远隔重洋，或许专攻不同，或许看法迥异，但因为拥有着同样的困惑和探求之心，这样一个非盈利为目的的专业网站便应运而生。一个能持续激励、愉快分享、深度交流、碰撞启发的平台，是它的基准所在。随着拥有共同目标的同伴的加入，我们的队伍在不断壮大。
我们做什么？
与榜样握手：我们为青年设计师和LA学子寻找榜样，通过人物访谈，介绍知名风景园林师、行业专家、青年创业者、海内外学生学者的思想、成长轨迹和作品。
引导公正：我们与园林高校和风景园林企业合作，推广可持续的设计理念，引导公正的风景园林评价。
予个人平台：我们为青年设计师提供交流平台，举办学术论坛、设计竞赛和各种专业活动。
搭接梦想与现实：我们设立各种奖励与奖学金，资助、鼓励成绩优异或生活有困难的学生，圆学子们的园林梦。
援助拓展：我们组织并从事风景园林研究，为低收入人群提供相关的设计服务。
我们的运作
YLA的核心编辑、特约撰稿人等工作人员都不予以支付报酬，象征性的奖励和礼物将作为他们对风景园林事业支持的致敬。网站的工作人员目前皆为兼职状态，都有各自的工作岗位，工作时间也是业余时间。
我们接收个人、团体与商业团体的各种形式赞助，用于维护组织运行、网站管理、学术活动、竞赛奖项、奖学金设立等。作为YLA的合作伙伴，赞助团体在推进 YLA事业发展的同时，将被回报以相应的社会声誉与商业利益。赞助所得款项将全部用作网站的运营和各种公开活动，财务透明并定期公开。
志愿者
随着网站的发展，志愿者将作为YLA的主体而存在，他们通过服务学习（Service Learning）来促进自身的提高，即通过撰写文章、翻译文章、参与组织学术活动、提供自愿服务等形式为相关群体提供帮助和服务，同时，自身的能力、水平和认识也得到相应的提高。
只要您是一位青年设计师，一名与园林专业相关的大专院校学生，或者是一名热爱风景园林事业的其他专业人士，甚至只是一名热爱自然的普通人，都可以加入我们。在这里，我们一起寻找榜样、编辑文章、翻译文章、组织活动、担任志愿者等，只要愿意贡献自己的专长，我们都欢迎加盟。
Who We Are
Youth Landscape Architecture is a non-profit website dedicated to promotion of sustainable design, landscape architectural communication and service learning，it provides communicative platforms for young landscape architects and students.YLA is created by a group of young designers, with attitudes of justice, enthusiasm and seriousness.In the team there are Chinese PhD students, oversea Chinese scholars, landscape designers and young LA entrepreneurs from China. We might come from different specialty or in different levels, but we have the same dream in this point, this is how the YLA to be born. The team is growing as people with common goals joining us.
What We Do
Shake hands with role models: We look for role models for young designers and students, through interviews introduce their thoughts, works and experiences.
Lead the justice: We cooperate with universities and landscape companies, promote the concept of sustainability, lead landscape architectural evaluation justice.
Provide platforms: We offer communicative platforms for young designers and students, hold academic forums, design competitions and other activities.
Link dream and realism together: We encourage students who are excellent in their studies or have difficulties on their lives through scholarships and providing funds.
Outreach Programs: We do landscape architectural research and study, provide design service for low-incoming communities.
How We Work
Because of the non-profit nature, staffs and editors in the YLA do not get pays, token stipends and gifts will be given to greet their support in Chinese landscape architecture. Right now all the members work in part-time and have their own careers.
The Foundation is created to support running and management of the website, academic activities, competitions and scholarships. Sponsors and patrons get certain honorary and commercial rewards as our partners. Financing status is open and transparent.
Volunteer
With the growth of the website, volunteers are the main body of YLA. Volunteers gain what they want through Service Learning. That is to say, through writing and translating articles, participating and organizing academic activities and volunteering they improve their skills, level and knowledge.
As long as you are a young designer, a landscape architecture-related student, or a specialist in other scopes, even just a person who loves nature, you can join us! Here we search for role models, do editing and translations, volunteer activities together, we welcome everyone who is willing to contribute their specialty and enthusiast.
